Getting ready for Christmas

This week we will be talking about how we get ready for Christmas and that Jesus is the reason for the season.  We will decorate our classroom, sequence the story 'The Gingerbread Man', use gingerbread men to demonstrate positional words and marble paint the biggest candy cane your child has ever seen!  During the month of December we will be reviewing the numbers 1-10.  We will learn how to write these numbers as well as learning the ordinal name for the numbers by learning the song the 12 Days of Christmas.  Our letter of the week is C.
