What's in my Garden?

posted May 7, 2016, 4:54 AM by Claudia Peterson
This week we take a look at what is in our Spring gardens.  We will learn the parts of a plant, find out why we need insects and plant our own flowers.  We will also be making flowers for the hallway and decorations for the classroom.  Since the weather did not cooperate last week, we will try to make a visit to the Mary statue this week and leave some flowers.  We will also be visiting the Science Center on the second floor.

All of our class caterpillars have now changed into a chrysalis and we are waiting for them to change into butterflies!  Very exciting for the children.

We enjoyed seeing all of our beautiful mothers in the pictures you sent for Show and Tell.  Each child told us a few fun facts and were very proud of their moms.!!

Show and tell - Something that is in gardens - thing outside the box!!

One of our class families has donated a case of water for our classroom - Thank you!!

As I stated last week we are now nearing the end of the year.  If anyone would like to discuss their child's progress, please contact me and we will set up an appointment.
