We will start our week talking about rain and why we need to have it rain.  This will turn into a discussion on the environment which in turn leads us to Earth Day.  Our week will incude making rainsticks, creating rain with paint and water experiments.  Show and tell this week - please have your child bring in something that can be recycled into something else - for example we will use paper towel tubes to make our rainsticks, also next week we will use yogurt cups as a pot for our flowers.  Please have your child ready to explain to the class what they will recycle an object into.  We will also be working on our alphabet sound sheets.

If you have not sent in a paper towel tube please do so on Monday.  Also, we are still in need of some rice.

Thank you to all the parents who have already donated rice and spaghetti.
