Earth Day / Life cycle of butterfly 4/24 - 4/28

posted Apr 24, 2017, 10:18 AM by Claudia Peterson
I hope you all enjoyed your Easter break!

We start our week by talking about how to lend a helping hand to the earth. Also we will discuss the three R's -
recycle, reuse, reduce. On Tuesday we will learn the life cycle of the butterfly.  Out class will be watching real caterpillars turn into butterflies over the next several weeks. As we read The Very Hungry Caterpillar we will be reviewing the days of the week.  Since butterflies are symmetrical we will learn what symmetry is.  Over the next two weeks the children will be evaluated on knowledge of letters and letter sounds.  Show and tell - children can bring in something that is symmetrical.

Upcoming events -

Picture day - 4/25

Half day - 12 noon dismissal 4/28 - No aftercare

School musical - 4/28 and 4/29

Field Trip - 5/3
