Pumpkins, a sure sign of Fall!  This week we will learn how a pumpkin grows and we will discover pumpkins through our 5 senses by different activities such as  placing our hands inside a pumpkin and tasting pumpkin.  Also, does a pumpkin sink or float?  We will be mixing red and yellow paint to create beautiful pumpkins for our hallway display. We end our week with a visit from the Fire Department. Our letter of the week is P (we will make playdoh and eat popcorn) and our number is 5. Our Religion theme is We Are Special!!

Protecting God's Children - If you would like to take the course it is being offered on Tuesday, 10/12 at 7pm in the school gym and on Sunday, 10/23 at 12pm in the church basement.  If you take the course you will be able to attend class trips and work with the children.

Environmental Print - Please send in the front panel of your child's favorite cereal.

Please enjoy our class photos.  They include our Fall nature walk, our visit to the St. Francis statue, a picture while we went exploring and a photo of our Autumn Art.

THANK YOU!! to all the families who sent in items from the 'blast off' display.
